Who we are
Busy Season (ABN 82 128 084 596) is a digital marketing business based in Albury Wodonga. You can reach us at mitch@busyseason.com.au or on 0481 183 229. This policy covers this website and the enquiries we receive through it.
What we collect
When you book a free audit or contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, business name, phone number, email address, your website address if you give it, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that conversation.
Like most websites, we also collect basic usage information through analytics: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device they use. This is aggregated and does not identify you.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free audit.
- To prepare the audit and, if you go ahead, to do the work you have asked for.
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to us by our form provider and stored in our email and business records. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. If you become a client, your details are also stored in the advertising and reporting tools we use to run your campaigns, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and some store data outside Australia.
Cookies
This website uses analytics cookies to measure visits. It does not use advertising cookies to target you. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we might reasonably need to follow up, and client records for as long as we work together plus the period Australian tax and business laws require. If you would like your details deleted sooner, ask us.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mitch@busyseason.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date at the top.
